I support open society ideas, having in mind that we sometimes suffer from the openness....
Needless to say, I hate all political movements, parties and tendencies that are against an open society.
In Poland, between 1989 and 2005, almost all left-wing parties, including so called "post-communist" party, still acted against the open society idea....
2005-2006:
To the horror of many of us, even large post-Solidarity party in Poland,
even though she called itself "right-winged"
is in fact very left, and when in power, aimed by populistic slogans, teamed
with populistic factions, acts against the open society ....
The political development in Poland in the summer months of 2007 is very sad. It demonstrates clearly the abuse of power - when the power is not controlled by democratic constraints. The people who declared "Law and Justice" brought us disregard to Law and total Injustice.
